MI-KA Building Services has been caring for Albertan and Canadian buildings since 1992. What started as one woman's determination to build something of her own has grown into a name that municipalities, property managers/owners, and provincial agencies across Alberta rely on. We have grown a great deal since then, but we have never let go of the hands-on, family-run values that built this company.
We are proudly woman-owned, Calgary-based, and 100% Canadian. Our founder, Janina Aniołczyk, still leads the company more than three decades later. Her continued involvement is why our clients can count on consistency and accountability. We treat every contract as personal, whether it is a single office tower or a multi-site municipal portfolio, because to us, it is personal.

Behind every facility we service is a team that reflects the communities we work in. Our multi-cultural staff come from Canada, Poland, Ethiopia, Haiti, and many other places, and many of them found more than a job at MI-KA. They found a landing place, a home, a family. We invest in our people because we have learned that this is what actually protects your asset. Crews who know your building and take pride in it are the ones who stick around long enough to matter.
